Andrew Jones B.Sc (Hons) FCCA ACA

Andrew Jones joined Scott Vevers, Chartered Accountants in Bridport, in 1998 after graduating from University of Wales, Swansea.

Starting as an accounts junior he studied for the ACCA exams in his own time and after four years qualified as an accountant. During this time he also moved up in the business, first as an accounts senior and then became a manager, managing his own portfolio of clients.

After nine years at Scott Vevers Andrew then decided that it was time to gain further and more diverse experience, and moved to Joy Lane & Co, Chartered Accountants in Dorchester, where he remained for five years.
Whilst continuing to maintain clients in business sectors including farming, construction and retail, he also encountered a wider variety of manufacturing and professional businesses of all shapes and sizes.

Andrew says:
